The following groups and organizations meet or conduct programs at First Church:

• Alan’s Afterschool
  An activity and tutorial program for elementary school-aged children
  
• Alcoholic’s Anonymous (AA)
  Meets every Tuesday Evening
  
• AL-ANON (AA)
  Meets Thursday afternoons in South Wing Mezzanine
  
• Bethel Ethiopian Evangelical Church
  Conducts services in the Assembly Hall every Sunday afternoon
  
• Caring Community
  A drop-in center for Seniors, five days a week in the South Wing
  
• Debtors Anonymous
  Meets every Friday evening
  
• First Presbyterian Church Nursery School
  Nursery School for children ages 2.3 through 5
  Occupies space on the fourth floor of the Mellin-Macnab Church House
  
• Friday Focus (Narcotics Anonymous)
  Meets every Friday evening on the Roof
  
• Human Services Workshops
  Conducts training programs for social workers
  
• NA Group (Narcotics Anonymous)
  Meets every Thursday evening on the Roof
  
• P.S. 226
  A New York City Public School for autistic children, originally started by First Church
  
• Save Her a Seat
  An AA program for women only; meets every Tuesday evening
  
• Village Light Opera Group (VLOG)
  Uses the Assembly Hall for rehearsals two nights a week during its season
  
• Manhattan Miniature Camera Club
  An amateur photography group
  Meets one evening a month from September through June
