Baptisms

Baptisms are generally scheduled one Sunday a month during the worship service.

Those interested in having a child baptized should contact the church office (212-675-6150) to obtain a form and schedule of pre-baptism classes and baptism dates. Pre-baptism classes are usually held the Sunday before the baptism, following the worship service. At least one parent should be a member of the church.

Pre-baptism meetings for parents are required and scheduled for a group of parents in advance. Once scheduled, meetings are held in the library at 12:30 p.m. after Sunday worship and last about 20 minutes. Parents may attend any one of these meetings before the date of baptism. Baptism takes place at 11 a.m. service of worship.
