Come hear about FPC’s Mission Services Group February trip to HUANCAVELICA, Peru. On February 6, a group of 16 members and friends of First Presbyterian Church departed New York City for Peru. The group’s members are Virginia Baron, Amy Cooper, Helen Doane, Paul Doane, Carol Harrison, Betty Jones, Rich Korchak, Lynnette Ortiz, Dick Pease, Georgia Pease, Kurt Regush, Shirley Ruiz, Ellen Taylor, Dale Wade, Peter Wade, and Marion Ward.
The focus of the trip was to work on environmental concerns, including reforestation and the installation of clean burning stoves. You will hear about the group’s experiences, the difficulties facing poorer Peruvians and much more.
