What began as casual gatherings for brunch, BBQs, and Sunday service has become so popular that we’ve decided to build a calendar of events for the upcoming year.

Please join us and you’ll find that our interests aren’t confined to the borders of Greenwich Village, or even New York. We hail from the North and the South, from Long Island to California. We spend our days working in finance and publishing, in media and the arts.  But we find that the most rewarding experiences in life, and living in our great city, often come from the most unexpected places. Our connection to one another, like-minded and engaged individuals, makes the journey all the richer.

Whatever the familial situation (single, coupled, married, etc.), this is often a time of seeking- seeking community, seeking spiritual identity, seeking a vocation, seeking a faith home. The Young Adults Ministry aims to provide opportunities in the context of a ‘new’ community- the extended family that is the church. The group is connected with other committees and programs of the church, serving as a ‘jumping-off’ point to active participation in the wider church.

Our hope is to create a community of diverse people that is built on the common ground of being younger, New York City residents who have found a spiritual home at the First Presbyterian Church.couples reception a 10-08
